The launch of Arikayce is not the issue. It is well launched so far. If it were truly an Arikayce only company and not weighed down by $10's of millions in annual spending that has nothing to do with Arikayce we would likely not be having this discussion. If this mantra of "going it alone" had not been tossed into the face of potential acquirers, partners and investors we also would likely not be having this conversation. We spent $35 million to license Willow along with tens of millions to get this far. If it works out Lewis is a genius. If not, he has flopped on his dominant, lung disease dream company and go it alone strategy. It should no longer be supported financially or otherwise. Then we are back to exactly what Lewis called the company for the first time ever last week - an Arikayce company. And, I doubt that's a company he wants to run or needs him to run it. At that point we need a profit and valuation maximizer and not a shareholder diluting builder.
