Re: Florida will be ordering all nursing homes to have back up generators by Nov 15.
Toby,
The issue wouldn't be manufacturing capacity, although that number just went down as their available floor space is being reduced due to moving out of one of their facilities. So the fact is, they can't physically produce as much as they could have before moving out of one of their facilities. Although... this would be a great question to ask DJ. How many units can you now produce in your new facility.
The problem I see, is that they simply do not have the capital to order enough parts to fulfill demand in a short amount of time. And even more importantly, their supply chain would NEVER be able to ramp up to meet the increased order flow. Remember what a train wreck we had when our suppliers couldn't meet the gradual ramp in production from oil and gas. And that was after DJ had told them the demand ramp was occurring.
Long story short, they won't be able to sell more than a handful of turbines to these people before November 15. And then the nursing homes will forced to buy the worst possible solution.
