The January production results are a considerable relief vs what was reported in November and December. There are now 32,668 boe reported in about 2.2 months of production.
We still don't know the decline rate, but it seems reasonable to estimate total EUR between 300K and 800K. While that's a big range, it would seem fair to state it is unlikely the well is a bust.
A typical well does its best performance in the first month, which should have been December. Maybe it was shut in during December, also there might have been some hold back due to the collapse in WTI pricing right around that time. At any rate, USEG owes us a press release indicating the EUR for this well, just like they provided us with the Richard #1 and the Beeler Ranch #1.
