Re: Silver Tiger Intersects 2.0 meters of 1,156.4 g/t Silver Equivalent within 17.9 meter
Gill,
Looking thru the data a little more grades are great. However looking at the angle of the drill hole to the deposit it is angled quite a bit and they don't state the true width. Meaning they are drilling along the deposit and not directly thru it. Indicating the deposit is narrower than the drill report states. I really wish they would provide this true width info. I get it they want to make it look as good as possible but if you know what you're looking in these types of releases you know it doesn't paint the true picture.
Here is an article about narrow vein mining from the angry geologist. It talks about narrow veins and halo effects. The El Tiger mine has a great halo effect. It also talks and show photos about true withs and drilling reports like todays. It's located at towards the end of the presentation. Very insightful to remember when these report are put out.
