Re: Merck is playing god in CanadaI heard that Ottawa took the off label use away from doctors by announcing that only approved treatments should be used for Covid-19. Off label use is normal for 20% of all drugs. The overarching rule is in the 1947 Helsinki declaration on medical research. https://www.verywellhealth.com/declaration-of-helsinki-4846525 Quotes: Protecting Patient Health In line with the Hippocratic Oath, espousing the belief to “First, do no harm” (Primum, non nocere), and the Declaration of Geneva that emphasizes “the health of my patient will be my first consideration,” the first priority is to act to promote the health and well-being of patients who are involved in medical research. The research must be designed to reduce potential harm so that it does not exceed the anticipated benefits and it may never supersede these protections. "Use of Placebo "As a general rule, new interventions must be tested against the existing gold standard, the best proven treatment that presently exists. In rare cases, the new intervention may be compared to a placebo (no intervention) when no proven intervention exists or if there is a compelling reason to determine the efficacy or safety of the intervention and there is deemed to be no additional risk to abstaining from treatment." So.. when HCQ was mentioned by President Trump, we had an immediate reaction by Dr Fauchi: "It's not proven".. Bottom line.. HCQ and IVM would have prevented vaccine trials, and the current EUAs would have to be withdrawn. Eggs and omelettes.. Dr. Fauci felt he had to play god, and maybe so. However, that still does not stop doctors from off label use. They simply have not been doing their jobs. https://www.bitchute.com/video/InH89amCpy7S/?fbclid=IwAR2MDGlbv4fjVnjUun9XhIZm7aCp77F9PeP7eKaWS5xyflgRcla2jcjtj38 |
