Re: Johnson & Johnson vaccine rekindles religious dilemma over morality of using fetal tissue

As a beneficiary of stem cells and stem cell research - I am of course both biased and privileged.

However I take the simple pragmatic approach - abortion - natural or artificially induced - is something that has been with the animal kingdom since we evolved live birth.

In human societies it is as old as humanity itself - even much much older...

It is not going to change or go away no matter the wishful or magical thinking of some.

If it is useful - let it be used - the help and saving from unnecessary misery and suffering is enormous - and yes - like everything humanity touches - there will always be a dark underbelly. But we can do much to stem that tide - and we do wherever possible.

Otherwise potentially life saving tissues just go to waste - and that is the greater tragedy!
