"The reason why the need to move to Korea is not because of reputation of hospital for such research. It is bc lackluster enrollments here in US. South Korea is the right nation for quick and large numbers of volunteers for the study"
I don't agree with this. I don't think they opened some sites in Korea because of lackluster enrollment in the US. They have always said they planned on opening clinical sites international. There is also likely a limit on the number of participants that will be enrolled over there. If I remember correctly, enrollment when from 60 to 120 in about a month or so. I'm not saying they are enrolling fast, but as they add more sites, enrollment will keep increasing. 115 sites are now recruiting. Just 2 a month per site would amount to 1,510 enrolled by year end. I honestly don't know if that is reasonable or not (high or low). It is always slower in the beginning. No doubt the bad press is likely affecting enrollment though (if you are looking for a reason for enrollment not being as fast as hoped/expected).
