Funny...I just wrote a (much more rudimentary) separate but related post in response to CapeCod.
Agreeably, precision medicine is very exciting. I spoke to a guy from NIH at a Christmas party a couple of years ago. He said five years out, chemotherapy would be a thing of the past--because of advances in immunotherapy. I look forward to the day when we look back on today's standards-of-care as barbaric.
I think this should translate into other areas of our lives as well, including diet and nutrition--areas largely within our control that can absolutely have a positive influence on our health and well-being--yet is often neglected. Well, time to nod off.
