I would like to further unpack the status of many TURV shareholders. This, in response to a post which stated truthfully, but with little context, that CSCOTT had enlisted many of the TURV shareholders as participants in a TURV lawsuit and then went AWOL. Pretty much a factual observation except for the AWOL connotation.
It is my understanding that CSCOTT has been in a protracted battle with a life-threatening disease. I’m not talking about having a heart attack (I’ve had a few) and solving it with a triple bypass (I’ve had one of those, also). I’m talking about a debilitating condition that requires constant attention, sometimes much to the exclusion of almost all other pursuits.
Add to this a refusal by many of the large shareholders to continue financing the suit, and you arrive at current status. The situation sucks but it is a bit more complex than just this AWOL tag. stooler
