Re: Those who still hold should not give up
It's not over til it is over ...and perhaps there are some out there who don't know much of TURV's issues are currently being addressed the courts.
Lots who do are pessimistic and are entitled to their opinion.
Currently there is no trading of the shares and depending on what happens, those that had past interest in tbe Colorado affairs will have it resolved; what, if any, assets or future prospects will accrue to past TURV shareholders now is uncertain to most observers.
This is not like a ship at sea that explodes and sinks in the deepest ocean without a trace.
The Colorado assets still exist. Their condition and value and future are up for grabs.
MUL and several others believe that the amount that can be assigned to the old TURV stock holders is a finite, and probably positive, number.
Differing from some others who are only interested in personal return, MUL's primary interest is that useful water, a renewable asset is currently being channeled directly to oceans instead of being borrowed by US agriculturists and residents. Hopefully this will be resolved and reversed in the courts and dams and irrigation channels will emerge that are currently fallow.
If the past holders, including MUL, get some financial returns for taking a risk, that's nice, but not as important as wasteing water resources that can help humanity in the future, long after all the past holders of the TURV shares are dead.
"And that's the way it is !!"
