Re: mingmao still positive....................(some questions)
1) What, exactly, does TURV have that Great Plains needs? HCIC was/is owned by Water Vault---TURV was very careful about about sequestering both the assets and debts in Water Vault. Water Vault was/is a house of cards And Great Plains is now majority owner of HCIC and thus controls the HCIC Water Board. The only thing that Great Plains lacked was the Storage rights, and now they can award the rights to themselves. The rest of Water Vault/TURV is debt.
2) TURV owns thousands of acres of dry land with poor priority water rights. Why would Great Plains be interested in owning a dust-bowl filled with tumble-weeds? By the way, most of the dry land they owned was in HCIC, and Great Plains now owns a majority of that.
3) TURV owns the Orlando Reservoir, again with extremely poor-priority water rights. And they are in default to the State on a loan for improvements that hasn't improved it much. Does Great Plains want to take on that debt and nonsense?
4) Does Great Plains wish to get in the middle of the unraveling of the bankrupt GrowCo, and associated LLCs, nonsense?
5) Does Great Plains want to waste their time in court over all the past due debts to noteholders and preferred shareholders?
Come on people, as my Dad used to say, "use your head for something besides keeping your ears apart".
