Re: Trying to wrap my head around the potential re-administration of AAV with chimeric AAV

from the literature i saw that made reference back to JD Fontenot's paper on IL-2 and the Treg cell, that is where i think the leadership in future products that will allow us to suppress the plasma cells that make the antibodies, which along with apheresis and suppression of the T cell activation itself to the vector capsid, will allow the redosing using either the same vector one that has been neutralized by switching out some of the amino acids exposed on the apexes of the icosohedron.

i see the work at TxCell as the mainstreaming of the ability to reprogram the Treg cells and at the same time find the ones which will bind to the antigenic spots on the transplant and use the IL-10 production to stop the immune response to it.

but these guys all know this stuff, just have different histories in research. i just read stuff from 5-8 years ago and now they are doing secret projects inside sangamo, to come up with the solution to add to their depth of product.
