Yes, you are probably correct, dmnun, that the payload is unloaded from the virus delivery vehicle as it passes through the cell wall rather than the virus moving all the way to the nucleus.
But the virus unravelling at the cell wall is even more persuasive to the point that "Vector Mobilization" is a nonsensical term. If the virus is unloading its payload as soon as its inside the cell membrane, then the notion of it bein "Mobilized" to go somewhere else is even more unlikely.
(I tried to find some references to accurately describe where the AAV unloads its payload, either in the cytoplasm or the nucleus, but in the twenty minutes I searched I couldn't find a good reference.)
