Sunrun widens Q2 net loss to $13.6M from SNL Energy Finance Daily Sunrun widens Q2 net loss to $13.6MByline: Maryam Adeeb Sunrun Inc. on Aug. 10 reported a second-quarter 2020 net loss attributable to common shareholders of $13.6 million, or 11 cents per share, compared to a net loss of $1.3 million, or 1 cent per share, a year ago. The S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate for Sunrun in the second quarter was 3 cents, while the consensus GAAP EPS estimate was 5 cents. The company reported 78 MW of capacity deployed during the quarter, down 24% from 103 MW in the same period in 2019. Creation cost per watt amounted to $3.72, compared to $3.33 a year ago. Revenue for the quarter stood at $181.3 million, falling from $204.6 million in the second quarter of 2019. The company expects to grow megawatts deployed by over 20% sequentially in the third quarter. |
