If Flu immunogenicity correlates well with efficacy, how did all the existing Flu vaccines get approved in the first place? Effectiveness against H3N2 is very low, yet the approved flu vaccines must have shown high immunogenicity compared to some standard in order to get approved. This is what could derail Nanoflu from becoming the leading Flu vaccine for seniors. The level of antibodies does not always predict real protection against a disease.
