Re: Nano Flu Approval
The FDA is satisfied with "non-inferiority" results, and they approved accelerated pathway. That may seem too lenient from an FDA that refused even conditional approval for RSVm. That's shockingly surprising when you take into account the fact that the results of RSVm were good in many ways, and NO OTHER RSVm vaccine is available. Whereas, flu vaccines are everywhere.
In my uninformed opinion, I believe the FDA is too strict with RSVm and too lenient with NanoFlu (and all flu vaccines) because RSV will not get worse than it has been, whereas flu could turn on a dime form the bad that it's now to a cracken that kills hundreds of millions of people in one year, and destroy economies worldwide.
That's why I'm pretty sure NanoFlu will rescue NVAX from its current predicament. I think every penny we put today in NVAX, at current prices, is a safe penny.
