This is a very real possibility if SII does not see a large market for Novavax’s current or future vaccines. We don’t know how much SII invested to be able to produce Covovax and Nuvaxovid. They also were burned by the COVAX meltdown. They will probably wait to see how many booster doses of Covovax get sold before committing to future large investments.
