I agree with you that using rape as a weapon of war is common, and it is entirely credible that it would have occurred in this case. I would also point out that it would certainly be alleged whether true or not.
 
Reports I have seen, such as https://edition.cnn.com/videos/world/2023/11/16/sexual-violence-israeli-women-hamas-attack-tapper-pkg-lead-vpx.cnn, and https://tvpworld.com/74101967/israel-has-launched-an-investigation-into-several-rape-cases-committed-by-hamas-terrorists, are heavy on hearsay and explanations as to why there is little evidence that can actually be shown. I am doubtful, based on everything I have read and the sources, that rape was widespread. Killings, including of children, yes. Sexual assaults no. I may be wrong.
