Re: Has anyone considered this? In addition to "faithless" electors, many states also permit "unpledged" electors. I can foresee the GOP in some states supporting unpledged rather than pledged electors, who would be free to vote for Trump even though he was not on the ballot. Again, whether this would fly depends on the Supreme Court(s) (state and US). |
