camps that are unwilling to talk to each other are not the best way to
try to operate a democracy. Deciding that it is all the fault of the
right, and we should just treat them as pariahs until they magically
decide on their own that they are wrong is not a constructive approach.
That sounds fine. Like the SCOXQ.PK trolls of yore, there is no negotiating or debating with them.
The recent example in this thread. The troll began about the Dominion vs Fox lawsuit, and as always asked "be specific", etc with details. So I started a separate thread (this one) with extensive documentation. A tidal wave of facts and documentation that would overwhelm any troll.
While I agree with you that in a democracy, it is important to have a healthy and productive discussion with the other side on matters of public policy; the problem with this is that it does not work when one side is not really trying to have a discussion or act like adults. I would point no further than the laughter on the floor when Marjorie Taylor Green asked for the members to respect the decorum of the house.
They have gone so far over the top that adults do not take them seriously.
