"Innocent victim" my left buttock; they were supposedly started to maintain the software, and for a while had a BSD-based successor, which BTW is no longer showing up on their website. Maybe the old vampire in question turned its victim to help chase down fresh prey?

The litigation was left with Judge CAAAAHN! and unXis/Xinuos said they had no interest in pursuing anything similar, I suppose until their financials left them trying the same Hail Mary play their forefathers tried AND MISERABLY FAILED WITH. And this time around there's no "paided" shills like O'Gara & Enderle to help prop them up.

Hopefully this stage of the game ends far sooner than the last and finishes this whole sordid little story...
