Re: Ukraine quid-pro-quo seems to have happened under Obama

> If that is true, then when is Trump going to ask Zelensky to investigate the activities of Giuliani in Ukraine?

If there is evidence against Giuliani, go ahead and investigate him. Did Trump know of this evidence on July 25?

> With the Bidens, there are only statements by known corrupt actors, and the allegation is that Biden "improperly" pursued bipartisan US policy. With Giuliani, there is clear evidence of corrupt attempts at personal enrichment.

Excuse me, but I think your head is on backwards.

Even in this very damning piece against Giuliani "no one has alleged that there is criminal activity in any of these efforts.

Rudy Giuliani caught trying to score cash from Ukraine gas company while accusing Hunter Biden of the same

Its unclear if Perrys attempts to replace board members at [Ukrainian gas company] Naftogaz were coordinated with the Giuliani allies pushing for a similar outcome, and no one has alleged that there is criminal activity in any of these efforts, said the AP. And its unclear what role, if any, Giuliani had in helping his clients push to get gas sales agreements with the state-owned company.

Compare this to the actual statement by Joe Biden:

> I looked at them and said: Im leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, youre not getting the money,

Clearly *demanding* the prosecutor be fired. Clearly demanding quid-pro-quo: either fire the prosecutor or you don't get the money. And Biden's family has a huge financial interest here. Also, there are several sworn affidavits that the prosecutor was fired because of Biden. The Biden family was certainly enriching itself from the Ukraine, there can be no question of that. And nobody thinks Hunter Biden had skills that justified $83K a month.

Now let's look at the actual statement from Trump:

> "The other thing, there's a lot of talk about Biden's son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it... It sounds horrible to me."

Trump does not seem to be demanding anything "if you could do this it would be great." And Trump is certainly not threatening to withhold aid if his requests (not demands) are not met.
