Re: After Record Sales in 2022, Semi Sales Forecast to Fall -5% in 2023the funding by both the US and EU governments had nothing to do with the 2021/2022 production shortages. while some of the specific are different, both the US and EU want to make sure they have strong homegrown industry with leading edge tech. while a huge chunk of the money will go towards new factories, there are also billions of dollars to go towards the development of tools, processes and designs(products). |
