Re: So, we going 2 $0? I dont feel so clever now. Eom BobI bought more premarket on Thursday and bought more again today just before the big noon dip. The way I look at is that the drug clearly does something that is in the direction of goodness and it is repeatable and predictable (now that we have a couple data sets). It is also exactly what was supposed to happen though the effect might have been a wee bit less than hoped at the start of the trial. No way will Novartis walk away and there is 100% certainty in my little brain that this drug will be of value to one of the big drug companies. Further, at 1.70, the market is valuing the company/business at about exactly zero since that is what today's enterprise value is. Then toss in the good move this week to convert the debt to shares with the result being Novartis is the largest shareholder of the company. I also like that we know the end date for this game. One way or another CNAT's future should be known by about September. There will be at least one Ph3 for sure and likely several. All that said, my guess is if the stock stays this low (sub-$3), Novartis simply buys the whole company for $6 to $10 within 6 months. |
