That's a fairly old story with ZERO human data. I think much of the tech is preclinical and Wall Street often assigns zero or even negative value for same based on cash burn. Intrexon has never signed a deal since the IPO that to my knowledge worked out for either party. Most of the small ECCs fizzled. Any seller who held its Intrexon stock suffered the same fate as the public. I think the only one who came out whole was MDA when they sold the tech and 6 months later sold the stock.
My point is tech is nice but Intrexon hasn't been able to monetize a huge IP suite in 8 years. Even if heart showed hints that's a 1000 person trial over 3 years. Who's going to pay for that?
My hope remains that they rent out Gorilla vector to a few companies to take the training wheels off and get some human data. That could be the beginning of a turn.
