There is nothing dishonest about the company's reports. They tell you everything, both before and after special items, providing both per share in dollars and cents per share.
If it's so that you've been shorting since the $20's you've done a brilliant short. Pat yourself on the back. But if you're going to wait for the $3's to cover, you're being too greedy and you're going to give back a chunk of your profits. You'd be wise to cover right here, otherwise you're going to be squeezed.
It makes sense for a stock to lose so much of its value when its fortunes have gone south and it's repeatedly reporting losses that continue to worsen. But PRFT is not doing this, indeed it's doing the opposite. This stock is the victim of harsh manipulation that will be reversed. And with such a small float it will go fast, whatever the overall market conditions. Cover your short or see it smeared bloody.
