Vanguard and Blackrock are significant passive funds. The price move in CRMD caused a move from micro cap to small cap and there is more index money invested all along the cap structure.
Just to keep things in perspective... when our party of interested retail investors was trying to get changes on the BOD we had 14-16 mill shares represented on this message board. We were considered a (direct quote) "distraction" to management. The top 10-15 positions of our party easily exceeded the list centex posted with the exception of Van and Blackrock.
Until the institutional % excluding Elliott exceeds 40-50% of outstanding shares I won't pay much attention to those numbers. CRMD is still very much a retail investors stock now. One significant difference from the old days is management and BOD have a much greater amount of share ownership. At one point I had more ownership than the entire BOD and CEO combined and told them what an embarrassment they were for not even following their share ownership guidelines in their employee handbook (excludes Gelbfish who was rehired after our efforts).
