Re: K running rate You are correct, the discharge papers state the Diagnosis was for "Acute Gout". The Drugs the 3 Doc's in the ER prescribed were; Colchicine 0.6mg (1x/day) Indomethacin 25mg (1 2x/day with food) Methiprednisolone 4mg (multi pak 6 days) Today is day 5 on the drugs, and the pain has subsided by about 80%. I wouldn't wish death on my worst enemy, but I would wish him/her & Radical Terrorists, persistent acute gout for about a year, they'll amputate their own foot long before the time is up. BTW, did your friend have "acute" or R? Would like to know if he has had a 2nd occurance? I'm Type 2 Last 5 yr's), so I have to be careful what I eat/drink |
