Re: What makes VLO Tick UP?The crack spread is more important than the price of the crude. The crack spread has been strong lately. http://www.tradingview.com/symbols/NYMEX-ARE1!/ Its not as high as it was last summer when price at the pump was very high but its climbing again now even with crude at a lower price.
