ah...now we are getting somewhere...30,000 to sell a put...with 100 shares equivalent of stock (a long essentually and collecting the "premium")...then maybe selling 40 shares at whatever the trading house requires...for most...at least the value of the stock...daily changed with the price...say 15000...so another 60,000...more or less. But the 30,000 with the accepted short stock becomes a 'credit" probably... actuall a way to be a hesitent long if one thinks volitility dies down. Geez...and the one contract is the smallest you can do. Starting to see why it is so difficult not to lose money shorting Tesla. Musk is right...that why he is making so much money selling the red satin short shorts. My advice...get long...or be wrong. I'm standing with RAMBUS. cheers
