Thead,
Just two questions/ruminations this snowy Thursday morning:
1) Either the top management is ignorant and stupid to take the secondary offer from the sharks or they were coerced to do so and were in cahoots with these predators. Either is bad, not sure which one is the worse scenario. Cooper stepped on the same pile of dung twice -- once with CVI and now short covering. Why he's unable to learn from his mistakes? Or, he does not care?
2) Since no new funds are going to be taking new position, the previous leading troika (Bartons, MSD and MVP) could force the top management out due to sheer disregard of their loyalty. Do you believe they can attempt to purge the current duo (C/M) out of the company?
I do believe the Cooper's days as a CEO are now counted. Mauney could be out pretty soon -- he was completely useless. Besides getting tons of stock options that chihuahua was vehemently defending for years he got paid handsomely for delivering nothing. We need a strong leader. Mauney is not one of those. He needs to replaced now.
