I found Moderna's Lyme program on their website and also the Phase 1/2 trial profile on clinicaltrials.gov. Only one trial profile submitted to date on 7/26/23 which was posted on 8/3. 

 

A few sites recruiting now, mostly in CT. Estimated enrollment = 800 participants. Estimated completion date = March 2026.

 

While the scientific goal may be meaningful, I question the commercial viability of this pursuit. PFE is already in P3 trials and Moderna has just started P 1/2. Assuming PFE gets approved, PFE will be in a relatively small market 2 to 4 years before Moderna. Absent a PFE approval or market failure, what will be left for Moderna?
