Strong Buy
Re: At this point the Reddit Bulls should start their own company. They might be more successful than MVIS."I have heard that a deal was imminent since last April" I read the Reddit MB, and have not seen any serious poster say that. In fact if anything knowledgeable posters looked for the Lidar A sample to be completed and shipped and also understood that there was a working capital requirement. I would not buy anything based solely on some Reddit poster's irrational exuberance. Pretty much the same thing here for the FUD swaying me against buying while I was accumulating a huge amount of shares at an average PPS around $1.60 (Dollar Cost Averaging, and buying shares as LEAPS) The BoD is now world class. The people who are there now would not be part of anything even remotely resembling a sham. "....MVIS is not in the IVAS" Regardless of what you have heard or read MVIS has a contract with MSFT for the HL2 and IVAS. Sharma said as much in his recent ASM remarks. That statement specifically included the military and was as clear an admission MSFT was using MVIS as an NDA could allow without violating it. MVIS is being valued in line with other Lidar companies, that caused the $7 jump. Until a Lidar company went public there was no way to evaluate MVIS's Lidar vertical. If the $140M ATM gets sold who do you think is buying? You think retail bought the $50M ATM? Do they already have institutional demand lined up for those who have to buy shares for their Russel Index funds? Many people believe that automobile Lidar is a huge market for ADAS. Probably so but I hope MVIS is sold before then. (As I previously mentioned I sold a couple of thousand shares in the $20s and bought my wife a 2021 Lexus ES 350. we have an older ES 350 and the radical changes in a relative short time that they have made in the electronics of that model lead me to believe that integrating Lidar will be faster than many believe. In many respects the 2021 is pretty much driver assisting already as I found out when it jammed on the brakes as I approached the garage wall when I was parking as well as other neat things. ) You have to be careful about FUD on this MB, its been going on for a very long time. Many years ago we were told we would never see DGLs when Corning cut MVIS loose and stop producing synthetic green lasers. Then an article posted here which the poster did not fully comprehend informed investors that a Polish group had solved the GaN problem and we would be swimming in DGLs as we are now. Took time but you don't hear diddly squat about DGLs. We'll see if the same story line will apply to MVIS being in the HL2 and also IVAS. Good luck. |
