My point is that some will say those who bought/held mvis, simply got lucky. Well, yes, they got lucky. BUT, that wasn't their investment premise up front (to wait for traders to run the PPS up on nothing), they invested in a high risk stock, presumably thinking the company could be successful and reward investors. Well, so far, the being successful part has not happened. But investors got rewarded. It was luck. But the investors did take risk. So IMHO they deserve some rewards for taking risk, even if the rewards did not come from their original premise when investing.
Note that as this plays out, there could be company success, and that might (also) prove investors' original premise. Or not. For those who sold, it won't matter. For those who held (or held part) it will.
