Here you go twisting things once again.

I didn't say that common sense was the method used to evaluate reliability, I said that it was common sense to understand that there are problems with MEMS that a no moving part solid state device would not have.

An attempt to portray MEMS as Solid State is an attempt to direct attention away from those known problems associated with mechanical devices. Static friction combined with shock and vibration is just one problem inherent to design that MEMS devices must overcome which is not inherent to a no moving part solid state device.

I never said that common sense was the ONLY thing to rely upon, but you certainly should find someone with it and then give it a try going forward IMHO
