Keep in mind these two points:
1. It is the industry labelling/considering MEMS mirror LiDAR to be solid state. Not (just) MicroVision.
2. What really matters in the auto OEM world, is the performance versus the specs required. (And also price......price is always a big factor.)
If a MEMS mirror solution meets the specs, and offers the best price, it will win the contract(s).
The argument about definitions that are "true", is academic.
If you have evidence that MEMS mirror solutions cannot meet the specs, (and I think you are questioning reliability and durability type specs), that would be worth discussing.
If you think solutions that meet (your) "true" SS definition can offer even longer (than necessary) durability, that doesn't really matter so much if MEMS mirror LiDAR safely meets the specs.
