the upside , it would draw so much attention, investors would run to them and SELL their Treasuries and stock. People want and need to make money. It would spell the end of the dollar. THE BRICS are loving the present situation. " FOLLOW THE GOLD" not follow the fiat anymore. When the BRICS determine the USA and the WEST have no way out , then the hammer comes down. No more $$$ for defense spending...no more $$$for investments..and no more need for a government that has mismanaged the economy.
