I see BlackRock scooped up millions of..... ....NEM shares in the last great NEM dip. From memory they now own about 11% of Newmont. I see this potential transaction (it's not closed yet) as nothing more than trading paper, in this case Newmont stock, for real things , copper, silver, gold. We will see if it is a good trade. BlackRock seems to think so. Snow |
