there is a video I watched recently from a guy who buys abandoned storage lockers at auction.

 

 I can't tell you how many REELS (he showed pictures of some of them with their names visible, when I looked them up, you were looking at some $600+ reels new in boxes for example).  But the number of FISHING LURES of all vintages that he found was in the hundreds.   And some of them were the old WOODEN lures, some still in their original boxes.

 

  Need less to say, he was pretty happy with the 'buy'/find
