Re: CryptosGood thoughts on electrical dependence, regardless of what that electrical energy is used for. Money, OTOH, has several characteristics: (not a limited list) --it needs to be widely and commonly recognized --it needs to be transportable; --it needs to be easily divisible; --it needs to be in physical form for the average person, of any age. Why does the Constitution reference gold, silver, and COINAGE? Perhaps those old-timers were onto something long forgotten......ordinary, everyday COINS.....pennies, nickles, dimes, quarters, cartwheels...........two-bits, four-bits, six bits, eight-bits ...........BUT NO PAPER FIAT! Paper FIAT is too easily duplicated and exploited by the elite and politicians. Various metals have been used over the years....it depends upon what the other individual is willing to accept........but NO PAPER/ELECTRONIC FIAT. BTW----collector coins are not worth anything more than their face value and metal composition in a crisis. Just a little monetary history. Got any everyday COINS? (they used to come in paper wrapped rolls) |
