IONS has over promised and under delivered for as long as I can remember. The one successful drug they do have required a lot of help from Cold Springs Harbor and Biogen, resulting in a relatively small royalty %.

 

I absolutely loved the business model Stan had.  Never thought we'd only have one successful drug.

 

Perhaps the next 5 years will yield something more. But I was in my 30s when I first invested in isis. I'm now in my 60s and not much to show for it. 

  

Too bad an activist doesn't come in to shake things up.
