SVA House Positions and Market Summary 09-12-2019; Close 19.5 cents
Mr. House Positions (Thank You!):
No worries and maybe a hidden blessing... I was going to ask you how we should handle the upcoming holiday season???
ASS_U_Me that you get it back this week, maybe just a summary for the week??? The volume has been low and, to me, it's looking like we will slip into 2020 before we get some Real News... unless a trigger happy entity does the unexpected...
Today on a paltry 96k (800 shares Germany; 27k USA), we closed where we started at 19.5 cents. It's kind of bullish closing at the same price as the preceding day (homing pigeon), but we both know technicals are irrelevant for SVA longer term.
I am assuming you are upgrading from Win7 to Win10. On a side note, It might have been about the same price to buy a new all SSD unit with an updated CPU, graphics unit etc. with the sales on now. I don't know if you have a Best Buy, but they often have terrific deals when it is "Sales Season". You MIGHT ask about "Lets Make a Deal"...
I also note that I had a HD crash in my Lenovo laptop about a year ago. It had 8GB Ram and a decent el cheapo Intel i3 CPU and graphics being just three years old when it failed. I was going to buy a new one, but a good IT friend in Silicon Valley knowing what I used it for said why not pull the old HD, install a 256GB SSD and rebuild Win10. I did it successfully with his help over the phone and email, but I will buy a new unit next time if something fails as it is getting "old" now. I really liked going from the HD to a SSD, so much faster!
Have to take the tower into the local shop to get Windows 10, a bigger SSD, and a hard-drive clean-up. It'll be 3 days without my computer, struggling on my wife's ( dinky) Laptop. I wont have the means to send on the House Positions til it returns, and I'm having withdrawal symptoms already. And this will, of course, be the week when all hell breaks loose. Damn you Microsoft!
