Over all the years IMGN has never been one to tout what it's doing. Whether they don't update clinical trials that frequently, or no one checks it all the time, over their history they've practically never called attention to what they're doing.
Could coronavirus be causing delays, certainly, but is it, we really don't know. Because of where they're working, and who they're working with, I hardly believe clinicians aren't coming to work, nor do I believe that cancer patients would want to delay treatment. Certainly being carefull not to be infected may slow things down a bit, but I've got to believe that people recruited to be in the trial want to go, and I'd hope our clinicians also want to help people in this era of medical urgency while all else practically grinds to a halt.
Does anyone know if patients in our trials typically spend time in hospitals, or are they dosed as outpatients. If they're using hospital space, I could understand delays as considering the treatment elective, but I would hate to hear that cancer treatment is being delayed indefinately.
On a personal note, my quarterly visit to City of Hope was put off a month, but such visit's aren't critical. In fact I wouldn't be surprised to have it put off an additional month. I've received several emails from them about how they're dealing with coronavirus, one of them prevents my wife from joining me inside the labs, waiting room, or at the Doctor's, she may use the restaurant/coffee shop while waiting. Everyone is screened for temperature, and all with one must check in where they can be checked, and handled differently.
