""" Although the net pay is thin, the BRF reservoir was thicker than expected."""
I'm trying to visualize this. They hit the BRF at the crest of the structure. At least that's what they were trying to do. So if the pay was thin but the reservoir was thick then they must have drilled into dry BRF rock below the pay. That would mean there's a pool at the top of the structure, but it's a small one, in both thickness and area. That would explain why they aren't going down-dip in the BRF with the side-track. They seem to have given up on the Ayu structure.
So it looks like the side-track is going after other formations, but in non-optimal locations. The real story will be told next summer when they switch over to the Anggun formation. (or when Oil hits $75 and they sell Andora for a $zillion).
Anyone see it differently?
