Re: RTN on fire? MONEY by SPARTAN 1:40 rollback; LIQUIDITY :)I had millions of shares of the sisters. I couldn't sell them after the fiasco if my life depended on it. Who would buy them? When NFK became a blockchain tech company, I started selling at $1 and sold as high as $1.24 - the shares got gobbled up quickly. I was very, very lucky to get out unscathed. DXE, on the other hand, was a different story. I figured NFK had a chance of making something out of ashes, but thought DXE was forever hopeless. I was right about NFK, but maybe wrong about DXE? Maybe Spartan Delta will actually make this nightmare profitable someday. Who knows? All I know is that there's really no point in selling my RTN shares. Frankly, I don't give a damn anymore, but I'll look again in a few years and maybe I'll have a change of heart. I'll say, though, it was all one hell of a ride - one that I'm not too eager to repeat! I hope all is well in Calgary. I'm in Toronto these days. DXE/NFK forced me to sell my beloved Porsche and end my happy retirement in Algarve. I still spend a lot of time in Vancouver and may move back there, but lately, due to the strength of RTN, I'm thinking of retiring again. But I don't really want to live anywhere. I just want to be a pelagic nomad on the high seas and sail to Australia, Fiji, and Japan to check on the wonderful properties of my latest "can't miss" junior explorer mining companies. Of course, I can never own too many of these shares and you know what they say, "Go big or go home." I had to sell my home in 2013 to buy more shares so I guess the only option left to me is to go big. Some things just never change. GLTA and many happy returns. fm |
