Interesting that share price has appreciated with substantial volume, but was preceded by big increase in short interest. I wonder if this is some technical issue related to the big volume spike for the Russell funds re-alignment. Other stocks that also had big volume spikes at Russell re-alignment have spikes in short interest too (ARWR, SGMO). Is this the market makers going short to sell to the funds.
