Bad information out there This report from Patently Apple - Apple's First-Gen Mixed Reality Headset is to Introduce Breakthrough Display Technology- has a chart with Sony 6.3u , 4031 ppi in .5-inch display which originates from this article- OLEDoS: Technological Breakthrough for AR/VR Devices6.3u converted to inches is 0.0002480315 0.0002480315 x 4,031 pixels = 0.9998149765 or 1" So the reporting is 1/2 the size for a 4k @ 6.3u. Or , you would need a pixel pitch of 3.15u to get 4k in a .5 inch display. Somebody messed up. |
