results from the long lost cabo breast cancer trial finally published

this is a very curious - Massachusetts General Hospital sponsored P2 study started in October 2011 and just published.  Only 50+ patients and all were recruited between 2011 and 2013.  Jose Baselga is coauthor and listed as being at Sloan-Kettering - he hasn't been at Sloan since 2018.  somebody finally got around to writing up the results. simple case of cleaning up old paperwork? or laying groundwork for IO combo trial? Would love to see Merck jump in with pembro and partner with EXEL on this one - just to keep everybody guessing....

from new publication:
"This study met its primary endpoint, and cabozantinib treatment resulted in a significant bone scan response rate correlating with improved survival. This is the first study to use bone scan response as a primary endpoint in breast cancer."
