"All truth goes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident."
Joe is partly right here. Yes, as most know, I am an ardent reader of old world literature and I often quote Shoppingover as he is a terrific philanthropist and his best known work, "The World as Will and Representation", wherein he characterizes the phenomenal world as the product of a blind and insatiable metaphysical will, is a classic right up there with "Mrs. Piccerell goes to Mars".
However, his explanation of how Jamie and Cerci, after being crushed from above by an avalanche of falling stone and brick from a castle imploding on itself, are then later found by their brother Tyrion by removing 3 stones at the top of the 30 foot pile of rubble, "The doctor sees all the weakness of mankind; the lawyer all the wickedness, the theologian all the stupidity. And some shit you just can't explain", is simply mailing it in.
But actually my favorite quote by far is, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman", Bill Clinton, 1996, Uli, circa 2016.
