Re: A Trial of PT2977 in Combination With Cabozantinib in Patients With Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma (ccRCC)
Thanks for asking...
We're actually remote to the city proper, but the Carr Fire has impacted the outlying areas, like us, as well. Local air quality has logged in the "unhealthy" category for almost a month, with no end in sight. Outdoor activities must be approached with caution, especially when combined with triple-digit heat. We relocated a lot of livestock during the first weeks of the fire, as we are pretty well equipped for that task. It was good to be able to help, and we moved a lot of barnyard animals out of harm's way. I imagine - when all's said and done - the Carr Fire will have burned upwards of 250K acres at a cost of well over a billion dollars, several lives, and a few thousand structures - roughly half of which were primary City of Redding residences. Very costly fire. We are amongst the fortunate to have escaped it's path of destruction. The Shasta-Trinity National Forest to the west and north of Redding are a moonscape of gray ash. It'll take years to recover...
